Job Description:

By submitting your application, successful applicants who enter into the Cadetship programme, agree that they have no, and can have no expectation of the renewal of the fixed term contract, or continued employment, or of any form of employment relationship between them and the Company

Job Responsibilities:

• Candidates who fail the pre- medical assessment becomes candidates for the future Community Portable Skills Training Projects
• Candidates who successfully complete the Cadetship Programme will be eligible in future for employment for entry level positions
• Underground, if/when the Company requires staff to supplement Workplace Plans.
• Candidates with a Literacy/ Numeracy Assessment outcome of Level 0 – 2 will become candidates for future Community AET Programmes
• Candidates with Level 4 Literacy/ Numeracy and who pass the pre-medical assessment becomes suitable for the Cadetship Intake if and when
• Development opportunities are available.
• Candidates accepted into the Training Programme will receive a stipend payment for the duration of the 3 month training period, based on a Fixed Term Contract.

Job Requirements:

• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater
• Occupational Health Centre
• Have proof of Address from the local community within Dipaleseng Local Municipality
• Have a clear criminal record
• Reside in Dipaleseng Local Municipality communities
• Be between the ages 18 – 35
• Fully disclose their personal credential record
• Have a minimum of Grade 12 qualification or Equivalent
