Job Description:

The incumbents responsibilities will be: •Manage the finances of the Section. •Prepare and manage the budget and manage expenditure against the budget. •Manage risks in own work/business environment. •Identify cost saving opportunities. •Achieve respective business targets. •Act as an interface between suppliers and business stakeholders to provide expert advice on commodity management

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage customer relationships to meet business objectives.
• Analyse the Procurement Operating Plan (POP) to determine value and risk of service or goods required.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to meet business objectives.
• Handle and attend to a range of customer complaints.
• Liaise with a range of customers.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and business stakeholders to provide expert advice on commodity management
• Achieve respective business targets.
• Compile tender packs.
• Handle and attend to a range of supplier complaints.
• Foster and maintain supplier relations.
• Analyse Scopes of Work and pre-tender Risk Assessments and make suitable recommendations.
• Identify cost saving opportunities.
• Manage risks in own work/business environment.
• Prepare and manage the budget and manage expenditure against the budget.
• Manage the finances of the Section.

Job Requirements:

• Have SAP MM knowledge and experience essential.
• Have a clear credit record.
• Have a clear security screening record.
• Have a NQF 7 (Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma) in Purchasing Management or relevant Engineering, Legal or Financial discipline.
• Have at least 8 Years’ Supply Chain or Commercial experience of which 4 years must be in commodity management or procurement within the mining industry.
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater
• Occupational Health Centre
