Job Description:
You’ll engage with all our visitors to inspire support through fundraising and membership, helping our visitors have the best experience possible.
Job Responsibilities:
- You’ll be using your creativity and communication skills to inspire and motivate your team of staff and volunteers to perform at their brilliant best.
- You’ll have supervisory responsibility for the Welcome Team working with the Welcome Manager to ensure high performance.
- You’ll have responsibility for the day to day operation of the welcome building and car park, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of service, presentation and visitor experience.
Job Requirements:
- Experience of inspiring and motivating through coaching and role modelling
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of the aims and ethos of the National Trust
- Experience of working to multiple deadlines and managing own workload
- Is hard working and a committed and a team player
- A flexible customer focused approach, with exceptional standards of customer service
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures
- Outstanding organisation and planning skills, and a good eye for detail
- Excellent people skills, enabling strong relationships, both externally and internally
- Proven record of achieving multiple targets and budgets
