Job Description: This position works closely with assigned producers and managers to produce creative and informational videos meeting industry quality standards and workflow requirements of the departments. This position requires creativity but also a strong adherence to technical specifications. Job Responsibilities: Edit together video, audio, still imagery and motion graphics for creative and informational multimedia projects at the direction of producers or managers, with minimal oversight. Combine text, video and other composited elements onscreen to create logical, coherent layouts with emphasis on important elements. The video Editor should be able to follow direction from producers and managers, but also provide their own creative and practical ideas and solutions. This includes the necessary knowledge of video production software, understanding of various video and audio formats, knowledge of production and post-production workflows, and an adherence to industry quality standards. Adhere to established workflows and guidelines in order to keep work between editing teams consistent and professional, and all audit requirements met. This also requires having a strong attention to detail for correct spelling and formatting. This includes following workflow documents and templates, and being able to decide which workflow paths are most appropriate for their projects.
