Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement marketing portfolio strategy
  • Monitor and execute area promotional plan
  • Gather and process data
  • Implement business planning process
  • Manage customer account profitability
  • Present proposal to the customer
  • Achieve projected volume and market share targets
  • Develop area customer activity plan
  • Secure agreement for the proposal
  • Implement customer agreements
  • Monitor and build customer relationships
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Monitor, review and evaluate proposal
  • Develop and apply area customer contact strategy
  • Conduct customer reviews
  • Develop a customer proposal/presentation
  • Analyse information
  • Implement strategic objectives
  • Interpret and report on information
  • Effective management of low turnover areas

Job Requirements:

  • Manage sales reps and merchandisers
  • Matric or related tertiary qualification
  • Academic – Computer literacy – Excel and word,
  • Manage key customer relationships
  • Establish, negotiate and communicate business initiatives
  • Function – Minimum of 4 years appropriate experience. management experience in a FMCG environment.
  • Core knowledge – Conduct situational analysis
  • Develop an implement area customer activity plan
