Job Description:

As a member of the Business Operations team, you will contribute to the success of Starbucks as an agent of change and continuous improvement through projects that improve partner experience and efficiency. Responsibilities of this job are to deliver solutions to Store Development field partners through engagement, discovery, process mapping, documentation and analysis of business requirements, and implementation of tools or system changes in partnership with our Starbucks technology and functional support teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discovery sessions to document and analyze current processes, identify opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement through activities such as post-launch follow-up and user engagement, feedback collection through listening sessions, and enhancement planning and implementation.
  • Represent business process expertise and provide capability requirements for solution development.
  • Assist with project delivery activities such as system testing, data migration, and launch planning.
  • Participate in change management activities such as creating and updating user documentation, conducting user demos and training, and providing user support.

Job Requirements:

  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to confidently share ideas and concepts to larger audiences and/or senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
  • Prior experience leading projects and continuous improvement activities (preferred, but not required).
  • Administrative and organizational skills
  • The ability to convey technical information in an accessible and consumable manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
