Job Description:
To provide holistic financial planning solutions to Private Banking and Business Banking clients of Standard Bank.
To tailor make these solutions in order to solve for clients’ individual financial needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Have a clear understanding of Business Assurance and Financial Statements to provide financial planning for clients in the Business segments.
- Develops appropriate proposals in line with customer requirements and in line with a suite of existing solutions (e.g., prepare quote, issue and amend quote, record advice, fulfil contract and requirement management).
- Prospect for new business opportunities in the selected segments and explore business expansion opportunities with existing clients. Contributes to the enablement of a universal services organisation by identifying other relevant opportunities and advising relevant business partners accordingly.
- Analyses and assesses clients’ current and future financial and estate planning needs.
- Applies product and service knowledge to meet client needs. This includes providing financial and estate planning advice to clients as well as the packaging, structuring and tailoring of financial solutions to secure profitable business in the identified market segment.
Job Requirements:
- Certified Financial Planner / Wealth management certificate
- At least 5 years financial planning industry related experience
- Diploma in Finance and Accounting
- Experience in all the product categories in terms of FAIS for SBFC
- Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
- NQF6
- 120 FAIS Credits
- Minimum required qualification and experience in terms of FAIS fit and proper requirements
- Preference for B. Com Finance / Legal degree
- CFP
- Must not be under any supervision
- RE 5 Qualification
