Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst in our SKY Network Information Systems department. We focus on enabling Sky to offer the best broadband and voice products in the market. Our department’s role is to analyse, design and build enterprise level systems that provision and support Sky broadband and voice services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a solid foundation for agile development to thrive by providing clear direction, meticulous understanding, and strong purpose as standard
• Become a subject matter expert and authority for the applications and projects you work on
• Work directly with the development team throughout the software delivery lifecycle demonstrating exceptional judgement to enable the creation of high-quality, robust software that meets the needs of the business
• Facilitate in technically or politically complicated situations steering the direction of conversations to a sensible outcome
• Liaise with wider teams across Sky, representing our domain, as part of project delivery
• Strategically manage the flow of requirements into the development team, ensuring alignment with wider department priorities and high quality
• Relentlessly share a holistic view of the required functionality to provide context and meaning to the software we are delivering, and to ensure end to end precision
• Collaborate with developers and testers to answer queries during development and expedite effective decision making, agree and sign-off acceptance criteria
• Maintain an appropriately prioritised backlog of development work – liaising with the development team and project stakeholders to ensure expectations of all interested parties are correctly managed
• Run requirement breakdown and estimation sessions with multiple development teams
