Job Description: Responsible as Instrument Artisan to do maintenance on all instrumentation installed in the in your area of responsibility, to ensure plant availability and reliability of all instrumentation. Job Responsibilities: Conduct data extraction and analysis from DCS during fault-finding exercises (fault finding, trends etc.) Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation: Level, Flow, Pressure and Temperatures. Knowledge of EX and IS standards for hazardous areas Proactive identification of instrumentation defects and mal-functioning Implementation of preventative maintenance activities. (Schedule work) Ability to word on ESD systems and to do fault finding Need strong instrumentation and control system skills to do proper fault-finding and preventive maintenance Execution of tasks associated with maintenance inspections and strategies including trip tests. Installation, testing and commissioning of instrumentation in accordance with Sasol specifications An ability to read and interpret instrument loop drawings, control logic diagrams, data sheets and associated technical documents Job Requirements: Stay in the Vaal Triangle (40 km) Driver’s license (minimum code 8) Grade 12 with Math’s, Science, English with the NQF 4 Occupational Trade Qualification) Red Seal is a requirement Have own transport and own transport for standby purposes Do standby duties and work overtime 1 - 5 Years experience Job Details: Company: Sasol Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Sasolburg Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
