Job Description: A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Job Responsibilities: Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example. Overall monitoring of progress of assignments against budget, with the aim of alerting the client or audit team of potential out of scope work and negotiating fees with clients or audit team. Stay informed of general tax developments and their impact to the client. Develop team members by encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Understand PwC and its service lines and develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally. Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed. Generate new business opportunities. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Financial portfolio management including, WIP management, timeous billing and cash collection. Collaborate to plan engagement objectives that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses tax risks. Ensuring deadlines are met and quality work is delivered. Job Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 5 years experience in an audit related environment. A CA(SA) designation, or a reciprocal professional accounting qualification or Masters of Tax. A post-graduate qualification in Tax would be a distinct advantage. Excellent time management skills. People management skills including coaching. At least 3 years experience in managing a team. Good understanding and knowledge of income tax laws (South African and International). Ability to multi-task yet still pay attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment.
