Job Description:

Leadership of Digital Marketing Services to enable the delivery of the Digital Marketing strategy in SSA. Digital agency management and review, leadership of the Digital agenda, driving media optimisation, and driving reporting and oversight of key A&M metrics – to drive Net Revenue growth, share of market and to maximize efficiencies across the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating with digital platforms.
  • Training marketing teams on Digital media tools to be best used to promote brands\\categories, providing advice to the teams daily with the aim of increasing media expertise.
  • Developing categories and brands strategy promo via media channels and tools, managing execution
  • Leads content marketing and communication program with digital & media team aligned to business development priorities.
  • Development of associates of the digital team.
  • Development of a data strategy to increase the effectiveness of brand promotion in online channels.
  • Development and training of the marketing team through training in the field of digital communications, mostly advising the brand of the team daily with the aim of increasing digital expertise.
  • Monitor compliance of actual campaign results with planned indicators and approved brand strategies
  • Interaction with partner agencies in the development and implementation of effective digital strategies for all brands of the company.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of placement in media in order to increase return on investment
  • Development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with vendors to support marketing initiatives, consumer research, and business development opportunities.
  • Supports the development of the AOP timetable, including the establishment of metrics for tracking campaign effectiveness and analyzing return on investment (ROI).

Job Requirements:

  • Recent hands-on experience managing agency partners, leading pitch processes, negotiating fees and SOW, overseeing agency reviews.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design or social media
  • Familiarity of the digital media landscape, and exposure to multinational media platforms (YouTube, Google, FaceBook, etc.)
  • Understanding of media planning tools.
  • Strategic understanding of developing multi-media campaign mix and deciding on best spending levels on each medium/platform.
  • Established relationships with key media stake holders including sales directors of platform owners
  • Experienced in managing digital for large scale advertiser to be able to advise on effective management of digital plans.
  • Command over Media metrics for success including CPRP management. Reach frequency analysis for campaigns and media spend optimization models.
