Job Responsibilities:

• No two days are ever the same, from ensuring our welcome team give a wonderful warm welcome to surprising our visitors through engaging programming and activities.
• You will contribute to creating a positive, collaborative and inclusive working environment for staff, volunteers and visitors focused on delivering excellent visitor service and conservation standards. You will deliver KPI’s across visitor experience, financial, compliance and staff and volunteer satisfaction.
• As the Site Manager you will need to have 360-degree overview of everything happening at the property.
• You will be the lead Duty Manager organising rota’s and thrive in rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck into whatever the day brings to you.
• You will be accountable for the day-to-day management, visitor operations, presentation, volunteer leadership and best practice compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Willing to attend relevant training to support you in role
• Getting stuff done with pace and energy
• Adept at managing an operation i.e. rotas, budgets and planning
• Outstanding communication and service
• Well-organised, able to balance competing priorities and demands
• The ability to think on your feet, adapt to change and problem solve or respond to opportunity
• A confident and calm presence at the property with the ability to work under pressure in a high visitor volume operation
• Adaptable leadership style, managing teams of staff and volunteers across a 7-day operation
• An eye for detail, driving excellent standards of presentation and customer service
• A leader who takes time to support, coach and mentor their team
• Willing to be flexible with working patterns including weekends and Bank Holidays
