Job Description: You’ll support our staff who manage volunteer teams, helping to create a welcoming, flexible and inclusive environment for existing and future volunteers, communities and partners. You’ll help us provide a consistent and good experience for our volunteers and oversee work like recruitment, training and recognition for our volunteer teams. Job Responsibilities: You’ll also become an expert user of our volunteering IT systems, ensuring our staff feel confident and capable to use our processes. You’ll be involved in every stage of the volunteer journey, from recruitment and induction, through to reward and recognition, maintaining clear communication with volunteer managers along the way. You’ll bring a sound working knowledge and enthusiasm for good volunteering principles and practice to the role, plus an understanding of good practice in community engagement. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt your style and tone to meet the changing needs of different teams and people. Job Requirements: You will have excellent people skills, enabling strong relationships to be built and maintained You will be passionate about the work of the National Trust to deliver its charitable objectives Able to support those managing, supervising and working alongside volunteers.
