Job Description: Conduct, coordinate, and lead research related to planetary and astrophysics mission development, experimental observations, and experimental laboratory studies. Job Responsibilities: Obtain and manage resources needed to perform the research of the NCOC facility. Lead and promote collaborations across the NASA ARC scientific staff. Consult with all levels of Center management, headquarters personnel, other federal agencies, and foreign and commercial organizations in a scientific discipline. Establishes and maintains liaison with HQ program managers. Regularly disseminates the results of their research through peer-reviewed publications, workshops, and scientific conferences. Lead the research that is undertaken in the NASA Center for Optical Constants (NCOC).
