Job Description:

To effectively manage a project to completion within time, budged and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts / Attends project meetings
  • Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources
  • Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews all issued drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability and project costs
  • Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated
  • Manages day to day client interactions and expectations
  • Submit and manage monthly progress payments to the client
  • Ensure that progress, delays and any other events/situations, which might influence the program and costs are communicated timeously to Management
  • Manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of the projects
  • Reports to stakeholders and managers about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated. Plans, implements, tracks and closeout construction projects
  • Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and audits safety standards and quality assurance control
  • Ensure understanding, management and administration of the contract
  • Supervises site/construction managers, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies
  • Proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of Project Financing Process and Requirements
  • Experience of managing of minimum 100 staff members
  • Administrative skills (MS Projects, Word, Excel, Power Point & JD Edwards)
  • Previous experience of managing projects through the financial, planning, procurement and construction processes
  • Minimum 10 years previous work experience in Renewable Energy Projects
  • Experience of managing Renewable Energy Projects
