Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Management Accounting Department. The Business Analyst will report primarily to the Commercial Business Partner while also assisting with wider department requirements when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports for the Senior management and Board of Directors detailing key KPIs using systems such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power Pivot & Power Query, MicroStrategy & SAP
• Analyse campaigns and provide cost benefit analysis
• Support departments/ stakeholders through the development and improvement of efficient processes
• Business partnering; the continuous improvement of processes, helping to strategically shape the product assortment and promotional strategy to obtain the best return on investment
• Responsible for supporting the financial planning process
• Advocate, convert and build data-fuelled solutions that help our stakeholders improve strategic decision making
• Provide insight into leading analytic practices, design, and lead development cycles, and ultimately produce analytic solutions that will become part of our core business
• Develop relationships with key departments and become a trusted business partner

Job Requirements:

• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, including power pivot & query and VBA coding
• Driven to succeed
• Natural inquisitiveness and ability to ask the right questions
• SAP
• Superior analytical skills and ability to communicate with various levels of the business
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent
• A collective team player with excellent interpersonal/ communication skills
• Experience with BI tools eg. Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI
• Previous experience in retail industry analysis preferable
• A passion for / understanding of complex datasets and the challenges they bring
