Job Description:
JPL’s Electronic Design Validation & Test Group plays an essential role in the Flight Electronics Section. As an engineering intern, you will assist the group manager with supporting the engineering staff. The engineering process employs physical, human and intellectual property. The systems used to manage these resources is currently being over-hauled. The successful candidate will assist the manager in both designing, building, testing and operating these systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy and train software for the end-user.
- Integration and compile software applications.
- Operate resource management system.
- Develop software, under the direction of group manager.
- Develop and test resource management software.
- Document software, within design documents and user manuals.
- Execute performance and regression testing.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with database management
- Experience with VBA
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Able to work 20 hours during school and up to 40 hours during summer.
- Knowledge of one or more high-level general-purpose programming languages, such as C/C++, Java, Perl, Python, or similar language.
- Experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with HTML/CSS.
