Job Description:

This opportunity will work within the Treasury Department providing support to QatarEnergy Trading. QatarEnergy Trading aims to establish a world-class, dedicated LNG trading arm for QatarEnergy.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Sr Accountant is responsible for planning and managing QatarEnergy Trading short-term liquidity requirements including cash forecasting, proposing short-term money market investments, assisting Head of Treasury in working capital management, and developing strategy to automate cash position to cash forecast, bank reconciliation and payment.

Job Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in in trading houses adequate exposure to LNG trading knowledge and trade and corporate financing.
• Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas (LNG) industry or banking institutions would be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce/ Business
