Job Description:
Hobby Lobby is searching for an experienced copywriter and proofreader. If chosen for this position, you’ll join a team of seasoned professional writers serving the company’s Art/Creative Department. You’ll have a hand in everything from project sheets to packaging to web content, and you’ll contribute to product-development for store brands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Completes all writing assignments according to the needs of the client and the Hobby Lobby customer
- Builds and maintains a working knowledge of arts-and-crafts tools, trends and techniques
- Seeks and maintains excellent working relationships within the department
- Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
- Maintains a clean and orderly work station
- Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects
- Adapts to additional duties and tasks
- Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude
- Stays tuned in to current copy trends and utilizes them when appropriate
