Job Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Usually works alone on repair orders
- Must be computer proficient
- Performs most repairs, preventative & predictive maintenance and replacements in his/her specific classification
- Performs some training
- Performs mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Diagnoses and detects refrigerant leaks and repair
- Diagnosis and repairs: Electrical components, oil leaks, fuel systems, refrigeration systems, a variety of engines, charging systems, exhaust
- systems, starting systems, and cycle sentry electronics
- Performs all responsibilities of Refrigeration Technician I
- Performs basic to advanced welding
Job Requirements:
- Must possess tools associated with Tech II
- Air condition certified in 608 refrigerant
- A high skilled level of welding
- Must obtain and hold OEM-s Certification in: Basic Refrigeration and Electrical and Welding/Soldering
- Must meet HEB driving qualifications
- Must possess a CDL
- Ability to read schematic diagrams
- Complete TMT training
- Ability to perform intermediate repairs
Qualification & Experience:
- 2-3 years experience as a mechanic
- Certified in AC repair
- High School or equivalent education (preferred)
