Job Description:

Ensures and maintains the high quality of all Own Brand labels through regulatory and legal compliance with current U.S. and Mexico packaging labeling requirements and clarity of all text and content information.Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports reviewing new packaging proofs to ensure accuracy of grammar, syntax, ingredients, nutrition facts
• Marks up errors and inconsistencies
• Reviews consistency and verifies error correction
• Undergoes on-the-job training regarding labeling compliance of Own Brand packaging according to USDA, FDA, FTC or NAFTA labeling laws/regulations

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication and prioritization skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule when necessary to meet customer and business needs
• Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
• Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
• Sit for an extended period of time
• Hand / Finger dexterity
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to tactfully work with all levels of personnel are necessary
• Must be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to multi-task
• Strong verbal & grammar skills
• Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis
• Work extended hours
