Job Description: The regional Loss Prevention Specialist, as an integral part of the Loss Prevention team, assists the Regional Investigator with the protection of Company assets, store shrink results, internal investigations, store training, and external theft prevention in their assigned territory. To learn more about the incredible impact we’re making on both our local and global communities Job Responsibilities: Facilitates shrinkage reduction in the assigned region. Conducts internal investigation research related to theft, business abuse, and policy violations by conducting CCTV review, partnering with Regional Investigator to determine a course of action, presenting investigative findings to People Solutions for recommendations, and writing incident reports. Monitors inventory compliance by examining adverse inventory audit results. Utilizes exception-based reporting to identify trends, hotspots, and areas of concern. Conducts floor awareness training, End- of- Day visits, and Loss Prevention Training on asset protection policies and procedures with store personnel. Travels as the needs of the business dictates, primarily in assigned area. Assists with Loss Prevention training and shortage reduction programs for all field organization levels. Communicates with stores, Field Auditors, Human Resources, People Solutions, and Regional Investigators on loss prevention issues and strategies. Collaborates with law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers to discuss security and ORC activities. Recovers restitution and submits all necessary paperwork for follow-through and collection. Provides Regional Investigator / Senior Manager with accurate, timely, well-constructed reports, projects, assignments, and creative ideas. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, capable of handling multiple tasks, and excellent organizational skills with a teamwork attitude. Job Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 3-4 days per week in an assigned area, with overnight stays, as business dictates Proficient knowledge of exception-based reporting programs, strong computer skills, and knowledge of MS Office Applications. Working knowledge of LP Technology, i.e., CCTV, Burglary Alarm Systems, RFID, etc. Qualification & Experience: College Degree (2-year-prefered) or commensurate work experience. Formal Interviewing Training and or Certifications, i.e., W-Z. 2-5 years of multi-store, retail Loss Prevention experience.
