Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies require the services of a reputable Pharmacist for their Masingita store. Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients’ medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs. Job Responsibilities: The provision of pharmacist-initiated therapy Correct errors on scripts rejected by medical aid The manufacturing of any medicine or scheduled substance, or supervision thereof Dispensing of any medicine or scheduled substance on the prescription of a person authorised to prescribe medicine Furnishing of information and advice to any person with regard to the use medicine Evaluation of a patient’s medicine-related needs by determining the indication, safety and effectiveness of the therapy Determining patient compliance with the therapy, and follow-up to ensure that the patient’s medicine-related needs are being met Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner, and within the legal requirements in accordance with the SAPC The compounding, manipulation, preparation or packaging of any medicine or scheduled substance, or the supervision thereof Job Requirements: Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) Registered tutor BPharm / equivalent qualification Sound numerical skills Strong command of the English language and a second language Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate Experience in supervising staff Computer literate – MS Office Unisolv experience Grade 12 / Matric Job Details: Company: Dis-Chem Pharmacies Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Giyani Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
