Job Description: Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an exciting opportunity for a IT Infrastructure Graduate to join our IT Team for a 12 months Internship programme. The graduate will assist with the installation, monitoring and support of IT Infrastructure within Dis-Chem. Ensure that all IT is monitored, implemented, and supported. Job Responsibilities: Keep accurate record off all relevant IT activities. Ensure email administration and support. Security Awareness training around Information Technology. Monitor Network, configuration and support (WAN and LAN). Monitor Server Hardware and Operating System installation. Monitor Anti-Virus installation. Ensure all internal customer requests and queries are adhered to within a reasonably expectable timeframe. Install and monitor backups on all production systems. Ensure accurate Data storage installation, monitoring and support. Report on all relevant IT activities. Give regular feedback to management on all projects and daily functions. Patch management and security policy management on all productions system.
