Job Description:

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an exciting opportunity for a IT Infrastructure Graduate to join our IT Team for a 12 months Internship programme. The graduate will assist with the installation, monitoring and support of IT Infrastructure within Dis-Chem. Ensure that all IT is monitored, implemented, and supported.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep accurate record off all relevant IT activities.
• Ensure email administration and support.
• Security Awareness training around Information Technology.
• Monitor Network, configuration and support (WAN and LAN).
• Monitor Server Hardware and Operating System installation.
• Monitor Anti-Virus installation.
• Ensure all internal customer requests and queries are adhered to within a reasonably expectable timeframe.
• Install and monitor backups on all production systems.
• Ensure accurate Data storage installation, monitoring and support.
• Report on all relevant IT activities.
• Give regular feedback to management on all projects and daily functions.
• Patch management and security policy management on all productions system.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Btech in Information Technology, Computer Science or System Information
• Proof of Vaccination against COVID-19
• Grade 12 – Matric or a Senior Certificate
