Job Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
  • Develop policy guidelines and procedures based on the Intergovernmental Relation Act.
  • Develop minutes of the meetings and maintain records of meetings.
  • Coordinating and provision of secretariat support to internal Corporate Governance structures and external Intergovernmental Relations Forums.
  • Develop decision matrix and follow-up on the implementation of meetings resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain the database of all internal and external Intergovernmental structures.

Job Requirements:

  • A Grade 12 Certificate three-year Bachelor’s Degree or a three-year National Diploma in Public Administration/ Business Administration/ Social Sciences or equivalent qualification (at NQF Level 6/7) as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Coordination.
  • Problem Solving and decision making.
  • Project Management.
  • Team leadership.
  • Diversity management.
  • Communication (verbal and written).
  • Corporate Secretariat best practice and government procedures.
  • Advanced minutes taking.
  • Analytical skills.
