The Associate Account Manager is a remote eligible position. It is an inside sales position responsible for sales of Best Buy Business (BBB) full assortment of products and services. This position is responsible for transactional and simple solution sales, along with customer service while playing an integral role in identifying customer needs to determine the appropriate customer journey. Responsibilities also include accountability for driving sales based on incoming leads, inbound & outbound calls and building rapport with existing customers. Attain revenue and margin targets related to these activities through superior telephone sales, relationship building and communication skills. Additional responsibilities include utilizing strong verbal and written communication (e.g. online chat/email), driving customer satisfaction and problem solving, developing/maintaining retail relationships, growing and increasing market share in small and medium size businesses across all industries.Responsible for organically growing the business by transacting leads, determining spending potential and habits of customers and adhering to the account transition process to ensure we are offering all of our customers the full capabilities of Best Buy and BBB.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Outbound Sales attainment via retail leads, call campaigns and other activities that require the representative to reach out to the customer
  • Utilizes systems when partnering with Customer Contact Group and Account Managers where applicable to help continue to grow accounts and provide a differentiating experience for our customers
  • Effectively communicates and partners with support teams around process challenges and obstacles that are impacting customer and employee experience
  • Accountable for continued development with product knowledge, vertical expertise, certifications and selling skills that will be completed in Learning Network and in conjunction with a learning plan created with their supervisor
  • Responsible for outbound call activities related to lapsed customer engagement, trade show leads, procured lead lists, etc.
  • Responsible for attainment of a revenue quota, a services target and a gross margin percentage
  • Meet and exceed monthly financial targets through the execution of product and solution sales over the phone
  • Accountable for responding to retail leads rapidly and a minimum of one notated contact attempt(s)
  • Engages with end users as well as retail partners to provide a superior multi-channel shopping experience
  • Utilizes systems (Microsoft CRM) as a communication vehicle for store lead communication
  • Meeting and exceeding call center productivity metrics for both Inbound and Outbound calling
  • Process transactional and simple solution sales and identify potential future opportunities that require dedicated account management according to defined customer journey/transition processes
  • Responsible for ensuring all leads are contacted with a high level of urgency to capture immediate needs as well as determine future opportunities
