Job Description:
In this role you will contribute to the success of the Global Shared Services (GSS) through exceptional performance, quality output, continuous improvements, and value-added contributions that enables the Anglo American and De Beers Group of Companies to focus on their core activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and communicate improvement opportunities
- Assist in unpacking and solving complex issues and root causes
- Support GRIR team with activities related to GRIR processes, controls, and stakeholder engagements
- Initiate remedial actions to address business gaps, risks
- Review team reports for accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Escalate recurring issues, trends and behaviors that negatively impact GRIR process
- Ensure team and individuals are performing optimally, in line with expectations
Job Requirements:
- Problem-solving capabilities
- 3 years people management experience leading a team of at least 5 people
- 2 years accounting experience
- Leadership
- 3 years SAP Experience
- Relevant 3-year qualification or equivalent
- VAT
- GRIR
- Strong Excel and reporting skills (Pivots, charts, formulas)b
- Grade 12
- Strong Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Min 5-years leadership experience
- Solid GRIR understanding and experience
- Accounting
