Job Description:

We provide services to the mining, construction and energy sectors, supporting new build construction and repair projects on existing assets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report non conforming raw materials
• Report and/or investigate anomalies in materials, processes or product
• Communicate test results to relevant stake holders
• QC testing for product that require shelf life extensions
• Provide three month old stock analysis by 1st working day of the month
• Raw materials testing
• Prevent production down time due to Non Conforming Raw Materials
• Equipment verification done per schedule
• In process product testing
• Shear Strength testing on all batches received, recording and filing of results

Job Requirements:

• Excel; Word competency
• Detail orientation
• Sound experience in quality lab in chemical production environment
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills;
• National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
• Assertiveness
• Independent thinker
