Job Description:

Update safety, health and process safety system documentation and other site SOP’s

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take meeting minutes, type and distribute
  • Assist to solve safety issues
  • Track corrective actions of incidents, injuries and health risk assessments
  • Assist with general admin work in medical station
  • Obtain monthly hours worked
  • Track lifesaving behaviour inspections and data.
  • Coordinated safety and health audits and inspections
  • Keep all relevant safety and health statistics up to date
  • Organize team meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of excel, word and power point (Calculations and graphical info)
  • Attention to detail
  • 1 year related work experience
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of chemical industry production processes and environment
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Matric
  • Quality orientation
