Job Description: Our Central Buying team is looking for a confident, positive, and resilient Central Buying Analyst who can think laterally and who has the ability to analyse and provide cross functional insight to the business that support the buying initiatives and strategic priorities. Job Responsibilities: Product Performance across departments to improve alignment The Marketing calendar across the SBU’s and the company value of purchased items in support of each campaign. Product Assortment Balance across the companies’ ranges To compile management reports on based Product analysis findings and providing recommendations to the business. Responsible for documenting and sharing of minutes post important Buying forums/meetings. To deliver consolidated marketing & licensing briefs on a monthly basis in line with the Company's promotional calendar. Continuously analyse and report from a centralized view and provide strategic insights on Central collation, effective implementation, and governance of buying initiatives relating to product. Job Requirements: A relevant degree /qualification in Fashion, Textile Design /Clothing Production/ Product Development /Merchandising, or a related field Integral understanding of the Clothing Retail Cycle & Product Attributes Retail buying experience of at least 3 years in clothing A Grade 12 certificate is an essential requirement.
