Job Description: To consistently develop colour, maintaina library of colour and standardof colour approval according to the company product strategy. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical advice on how to achieve colour and colour assessment Selecting a range of dyes and best dye profiles to achieve best desired performance Keep records of the dye development process to achieve reproducibility Costing dye recipes Create a colour library and colour management on software Checking each stage of the dyeing process to ensure quality control Provide accurate and timely feedback on the above processes Developing accurate chemical recipes to produce different colours and dyes Job Requirements: Relevant qualification in dyeing, preferably with the following subjects: Grade 12 Certificate/Matric Textiledyeing and Finishing certificate Diploma in Textile Technology, chemical engineering, analytical chemistry OR RelevantSADFA Certificate (dyeing) Colour matching Fabric dyeing Minimum 3 years’ experience in: Tri-chromic selection in accordance with best commercial pricing and worldwide availability of CI numbers Colour matching Previous experience in a colour laboratory or dyehouse Spectrophotometer knowledge and interpretation of spectral values Colour interpretation and formula changing of dye chemistry Colour laboratory formulation of recipe Job Details: Company: Ackermans Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Kuils River Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
