Job Responsibilities: Test barcode labels are fully functional when being printed by JPL hardware printers Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand how they use the barcode labels for their business process Present the entire software lifecycle implementation from research to implementation Weekly status update meeting with mentor Document the functionality of the selected barcode software and the integration with Oracle Conduct market analysis on competitive technologies to support JPL barcoding process Design and implement a proof of concept with the barcoding software being integrated with Oracle eBS Job Requirements: Familiarity with the following programming languages: Java or PL/SQL Familiarity with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc. Good verbal and written communications skills with ability to work in a team environment Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in an engineering or technical major related to work assignment during the internship Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 out of a 4.0 GPA or equivalent Recently completed coursework providing an understanding and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques in Computer Science or related Familiarity with the Oracle eBS R12.2 system Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 8-12 weeks during the Summer Job Details: Company: JPL Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Pasadena, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
