Job Description: State Farm is seeking a bright, diligent Software Engineer to join our Auto Acquisition Services team to help build and design a best in class customer experience. Ideal candidate must have a successful track record of software delivery, solution design, using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and Java to develop a single page application Job Responsibilities: You’ll be spending the majority of your time coding, designing, and architecting a single-page web application in conjunction with building and integrating with REST APIs. You’ll be working with Angular (or other SPA framework influenced by the teams) while interacting with other product teams across State Farm. We work in an agile based software delivery culture. State Farm is focused on simplifying and modernizing efforts within the Property & Casualty systems. Software Engineers are engaged in a culture driving product ownership, team empowerment and innovative thinking. Your team will own product(s) throughout the lifecycle and deploy often using CI/CD pipelines. As an experienced Engineer you’ll also be helping the team produce the highest quality software possible by collaborating on all phases of DevOps including design, implementation, review, deployment, and servicing, as well as the autonomy to continually improve the UX using A/B testing, etc. Collaboration with product owners and user experience teams is imperative to deliver a best in class customer experience.
