Job Description: As an Engineering Manager, you will own delivery and will work closely with product management team, software engineering teams, and business partners. Key focus areas will be to develop right technology vision, developmental practices and team culture to ensure right quality, timely delivery and foster. Job Responsibilities: Develop a culture of Innovation and invest in ideas and executions around emerging industry and technologies. Provide expertise and leadership to drive the overall delivery through collaborations with various stakeholders towards overall success Establish processes and practices that ensure a high level of productivity, quality and reliability. Work with product management to set engineering roadmaps; own the overall delivery by planning/tracking thru phases, milestones, and iterations in an AGILE environment by appropriate prioritization and feature-delivery trade- offs. Directly own delivery by managing engineers, architects, quality engineers, and data-scientist teams. Develop an outstanding engineering team with diverse expertise and develop a culture for engineering excellence and focused delivery. Mentor leaders across the organization in leadership, management, and engineering best practices. Collaborate with multi-cultural teams spread across locations and multiple vendors. Architectural and technology vision for overall product roadmap and long-term objectives including production robustness and enterprise scalability/extensibility. Job Requirements: Must be comfortable working in fuzzy environments where boundaries aren’t clearly defined. Experience with software engineering best practices, design patterns and anti-patterns Minimum 13+ years of total work experience with at least 5+ years of experience in leading a team. Strong coding skills. BS or MS from premium schools in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology. Quick & Excellent Problem Solving skills for complex & large scale problems. Very Interpersonal and leadership skills. Good knowledge, understanding & experience of working with multitier architectures.
