Job Description: Conduct internal audits for the Group or at various operations Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and management Job Responsibilities: Deliver quality audit projects in line with the IIA Standards and internal methodologies Plan and prepare internal audit projects Application of internal audit principles and best practices Write clear audit reports that identify risks, effects and well-articulated recommendations Execute audit programmes effectively and efficiently Ability to create professional relationships that do not impair independence Interpret financial statements Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and management Application of frameworks and guidelines when auditing Conduct internal audits for the Group or at various operations Adherence to project budgets Application of risk based auditing techniques Job Requirements: Be energetic and self-motivated with an inquiring mind. Demonstrate well developed written (including reports )and verbal communication skills in English. Be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF qualification. Exhibit a meticulous and well organized work method. Be experienced in auditing environmental management systems. Have NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in relevant field. Adhere to the Institute of Internal Auditors Professional Practices Framework and Code of Ethics. Have experience in auditing Safety management systems in a mining environment. Registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Demonstrate advanced analytical abilities , problem solving skills and pay attention to detail. Have well developed interpersonal skills. Have at least 3 or 4 years internal / external audit experience. Be a self-starter and have the ability to work under minimum supervision. Have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and take initiative. Have indisputable integrity , ethics and be able to maintain confidentiality. Be fully proficient in the full Micro Office Suite. Have knowledge of auditing the SAP Systems. Be able to identify risks and controls within processes and at Group Level.
