Job Description: The main purpose of the job is to provide exceptional customer service at the point of sale, thereby maximising selling opportunities and minimising risk to the business. The Cashier must perform till procedures efficiently, accurately and courteously, to ensure the security of all receipts and the full contents of the till at all times. Job Responsibilities: Ringing up purchases and accepting payments Public Relations Issuing accurate Receipts Balancing the till at the end of the shift Issuing complete and accurate Receipts Wrapping, Packing and maintaining displays Till Balancing To uphold and promote the company values and culture Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases.
