Job Description: Hospice Plett aims to uplift the quality of life of the Bitou communities by promoting health and wellbeing for all and providing compassionate care for those living with life limiting illness. Hospice Plett is currently looking for a Palliative Care Nurse to join the team in Plettenberg Bay. Job Responsibilities: Provide relevant support to the family of the patients Perform other duties, as and when so requested, in support of team goals Full requirements and position profile available on request Maintain all patient data in accordance with the requirements of the law, instructions from the medical team and within the guidelines of Hospice Plett Develop and implement the nursing plan in accordance with the patient’s medical advisory team Attend to and provide care of the patients of Hospice Plett within the guidelines of nursing act and the philosophy of the organisation Assess, monitor and advise patients on pain and symptom control in accordance with the patient’s medical advisory team Refer patients to other specialised services within the organisation when required Job Requirements: Valid Code B drivers’ license (PDP advantageous) Formally trained in Palliative care OR 5 years’ experience as a Palliative Care Nurse Applicable/Current SANC Registration Job Details: Company: SANGONeT Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Knysna Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
