Job Description: The incumbent will form part of the team that is responsible for the overall financial management of the Akeso Hospital's finances. This will include all processing required to keep the accounting records up to date, administration and management of all balance sheet accounts including but not limited to debtors, creditors, cash and cash equivalents, loan accounts and statutory balances, as well as administration relating to tax matters. The incumbent will also be actively involved in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with group requirements, and will be responsible for the preparation and review of management packs for the entity/hospital. Job Responsibilities: Management and control of patient and admin records and archive filing. Management of bank reconciliation process. Management of petty cash. Assisting with monthly audit trail analysis. Monitoring, control and management of budget. Procurement of clinic goods. Monthly reporting to Head Office, including income statements / budget analysis Co-ordinate budget and forecast process to ensure timely hospital submissions. Management and control of asset register. Processing of supplier / customer supporting documents. Management of petty cash and preparation of payment schedules. Management of admissions, pre-authorisation processes and patient financial Management of credit control and billing procedures, including FOREX Monitoring of Hospital Management System in conjunction with Clinic Manager. Job Requirements: B .Com Financial Accounting degree or the equivalent 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role A relevant accounting or equivalent NQF 7 level qualification Honours – NQF Level 8 Articles completed Minimum 1 year post-article experience (if Articles completed); or Minimum 2 years' experience (if no Articles completed); or Previous experience in similar environment Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience in the hospital services industry Managerial experience Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Excel, SAP and Pastel Up-to-date knowledge of GAAP Job Details: Company: Netcare Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Gauteng, South Africa Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
