Job Description: The Parkway Tech I supports overall operations by assisting in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on Material Handling Equipment (MHE); receives training to advance technical abilities; works under immediate supervision from detailed verbal / written instructions. Job Responsibilities: Operates hoists, jacks, lathes, presses, forklifts, hand tools and industrial power tools to include electrical test equipment Maintains sanitary and safe work environment Completes minor component rebuilding Performs other duties as assigned Completes limited repairs on electronic MHE Receives training from Parkway Techs II and III to advance skillset Performs routine and scheduled maintenance Performs complete mechanical and hydraulic repairs on company handling equipment Fills out all work orders Repairs internal combustion support equipment Job Requirements: Required to wear foot protection Use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions Basis Tool set Must be able to lift 70 pounds a distance of 15 feet Work extended hours and / or rotating schedules Operate and use hand tools, power tools, and MHE on a regular basis Ability to properly wear PPE for an extended time Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays Qualification & Experience: 2+ years of technician experience High School Diploma or GED Job Details: Company: H-E-B Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Houston, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
