Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure tidiness of barber stations and sterilize tools, as needed
• Manage bookings and serve walk-ins depending on availability
• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
• Apply hair treatment products, as needed
• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes
• Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)

Job Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with beard cutting and shaping
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours
• Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths
• Flexibility to work in shifts
• NVQ Level 2 in Barbering
• Familiarity with hair treatment products and services
• Up-to-date with industry trends
• Proficiency in cutting using various types of clippers/razors
