Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to drive beauty zone sales, though an extraordinary customer experience. The position is totally focused on the customer experience and driving result in the beauty zone. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Welcome customers into the beauty zone, by engaging then as they enter the store. - Create deep emotional connections between the customer and our brand. Develop personal relationships with our customers to encourage repeat visits and engagement. - Become an influencer of the beauty brands that we carry, both in stores and on social media. - Assist customers with their beauty goals and concerns, with product recommendations and the selection of and application of beauty - Help customer bridge the in store and online beauty experience, so that they engage with Rite Aid both in stores and digitally. - Allow customers to experiment with different beauty products and assis them in the application process. Provide excellent an customer service through knowledge and awareness of product within the department, execution of promotional activities and events. - Complete customer transactions on the tablet device and by walking them to checkout. - Maintain a clean, well presented beauty area that is pleasing to the customer and positively represents the Rite Aid brand. - Grow the beauty business. Track performance and personal sales goals, with focusing on exceeding goals.
