Job Description:
The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Maintenance Manager. Perform maintenance of all electrical machinery, equipment, processes and software applications according to SANS codes for a hazardous site on a higher level than electricians. Give a higher level of support to electrical staff and solve higher-level problems.
Job Responsibilities:
- To implement preventative actions and maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- To ensure that all breakdowns are attended to in a cost-effective manner.
- To ensure and prevent come back or repeated failures and breakdowns.
- To be willing to do standby duties.
- To ensure that breakdowns are solved in a timeous fashion.
- To ensure the continued good condition of all equipment.
- To ensure that all call outs are answered promptly and effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Trade test certificate as Electrician
- Have a university degree qualification in Electrical / Electronics
- Minimum 2 years experience with respect to the electrical or electronic environment or electrical/electronic experience in the milling industry.
- Minimum 2 years Siemens PLC S7/ TIA portal experience
- Minimum 2 years Wonderware system platform SCADA and Siemens SCADA experience.
