Job Description:
The Securities Quality of Business Specialist obtains corrections for incoming new business applications including outside funds, 529 plans, and platform accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides training to new employees within the processing area
- Reviews agent license status and works Bad Sales report
- Mails applications that are not in good order to the appropriate agent and tracks UPS packages daily to ensure that they are received
- Communicates deficiencies to the writing agent
- Runs daily monitor reports and works quality control queues
- Corrects trades, appends corrections to the application image, and routes image to appropriate queue
- Reviews trades for deficiencies (not in good order or NIGO)
Job Requirements:
- Excellent proof reading skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with database and mainframe is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
