Nissan Application – Risk, Analytics and Compliance Analyst

Job Description:

Working within the Nissan Canada Finance (NCF) division, this role will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining key elements of risk management models, policies, and processes covering the areas of retail and wholesale credit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and monitor credit strategies and related scorecards to optimize the volume and quality of automated decisions; recommend changes or modifications to the Manager, Risk, Analytics and Compliance.
• Participate in the regular review of local policies, evaluate the general adherence to policies, address non-compliance with the appropriate management teams.
• Provide risk consulting expertise in cross-departmental projects and initiatives, including in the preparation, execution and reviewing of test cases.
• Analyze credit strategy and portfolio performance trends, identify and diagnose drivers of unexpected changes to portfolio composition and performance.
• Lead Risk Committee meetings and manage agenda development, information gathering as well as the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational or credit risk management, or financial analysis. Experience within automotive industry is an asset.
• Curious mindset with ability to learn new concepts quickly, identify challenges and clearly articulate issues to others.
• Post-secondary degree in an analytical or data-focused discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
• Critical thinking and with proven analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
• Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across stakeholder groups, influence change and deliver results.
