Job Description:
As Maintenance Engineer, your key objective will be to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant performance. Using Nestlé’s factory systems, you will analyse data to identify un-reliable equipment on this site and strive to improve the reliability through continuous improvement projects, implementation of TPM stream methodologies and root cause analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become a specialist in PM stream methodologies
- Support and complete root cause analysis to reduce stoppages and recurrence.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practice standards in respect of plant, tools and environment.
- Play a key role in TPM expansion throughout the factory by coaching and mentoring technicians, craft, apprentices and operators to enable them to become autonomous.
- Implementation of the area’s MWG (maintenance working group) plan and participate in line improvements across the manufacturing facility.
- Support and challenge your colleagues to maintain all company standards.
- Ensure compliance with the Nestlé quality policy particularly engineering change management and line release
Job Requirements:
- Excellent work ethic and a self-starter.
- Ability to influence by having strong inter person skills.
- Experienced working with automated processes and PLC’s, Allen Bradley desirable.
- Manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to coach across all levels and work on own initiative.
- In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodology.
