Job Description: The objective of BankTech’s strategy should further support and enhance customer retention/growth, increased ARPU and improved revenue potential, at both a FinTech FinCo and OpCo level, via empowering the OpCos to deliver “fit for purpose” asset & liability products across the customer segments, supported via progressing / delivering the partnerships required to fund and/or support the launch of these products Job Responsibilities: Identify and assess new opportunities for MTN Group / FinTech FinCo in the FinTech space Define, execute and implement FinTech FinCo Advanced Services/BankTech Product roadmap Lead the creation of the functional strategy in line with the overarching business goals Ensure effective implementation of the strategy by means of providing direction, support, technical and commercial frameworks, models, roadmaps, partners, and products to the OpCos Provide strategic guidance and support to MTN FinTech companies and properties Engage with FinTech FinCo, OpCos and supporting internal stakeholders to develop, formulate a strategy and plan of execution in line with the overarching business goals and strategies as informed by MTN Group / FinTech FinCo Executive. Job Requirements: Exceptional leadership and management skills; track record of developing a communication strategy, building relationships across teams and key stakeholders to achieve goals Track record in developing, building and implementing FinTech in emerging markets Pan Africa multi-cultural experience Significant experiences in driving innovation, change and new business with a multinational Relevant Executive management experience with a regional or global organization Minimum of 4 years of experience in senior executive management role Worked across diverse cultures and geographies Experience in working in a multicultural and changing environments Fluent in English (fluent in French is a plus) Minimum of 4 years tertiary qualification At least 6-8 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services Master’s Degree / MBA Minimum 12-15 years of significant / relevant experience in FinTech / Mobile Financial Services Job Details: Company: MTN Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Johannesburg Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
