Job Description:

The Digital Trading Manager will work closely with Head of Digital, Senior Commercialisation Manager, distribution team, product team, PR and content agencies to manage the promotion, maintenance and development of the life. HSBC.CO.UK website. Thus ensuring that the website proposition design continues to meet the regulatory, competitiveness, service level and needs of our customers, stakeholders and shareholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To analyse, monitor and evaluate key data metrics of the website to identify areas of opportunities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and media agency to create and run effective digital ad strategy to increase HSBC Life awareness and generate high quality leads
  • Effectively manage multiple agencies.
  • Ensure any site development meets the banks Accessibility standards
  • Ensure agencies deliver the agreed KPIs
  • Achieve agreed traffic uplift
  • Achieve agreed keyword ranking
  • Propose and get approval of the search strategy from Head of Digital and Senior Commercialisation Manager.
  • Ensure key deliverables are achieved on schedule on budget
  • A strong network of relationships which enable engaged, productive consultation and execution at pace, causing minimal conflict with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achieve agreed brand awareness target
  • Work closely with distribution team, the wider marketing and wider digital team within the UK Bank and agencies to create and execute the lead gen strategy for Life.HSBC.CO.UK.
  • Work closely with head of digital, Senior Commercialisation Manager, WPB SEO team, UK marketing, and SEO agency to define and execute effective search (SEO and PPC) strategy to improve ranking of Life.HSBC.CO.UK and increase high quality traffic
  • Achieve the agreed lead gen targets with Head of Digital, Senior Commercialisation Manager and distribution team.

Job Requirements:

  • Good paid digital media experience required
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities with challenging timescales
  • Expert PPC experience required
  • Strong Lead gen experience required
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Financial service experience preferred
  • Ecommerce experience required
  • Strong SEO experience required
  • Digital agency media buying experience preferred
  • Confident communicator across various channels and levels.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
