Job Description:
This Graphic Design position specializes in concept and development of imagery for print and digital media for Hobby Lobby corporate collateral. Tasks include creating original design work for inspirational craft pamphlets, posters, social graphics, brochures and more–as well as upkeep and maintenance of corporate branding standards for all corporate collateral. This position collaborates with team and key stake holders to plan, analyze, organize and produce excellent visual representation on all assigned projects to best represent Hobby Lobby. Job Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Team Leaders and Coordinators to meet project objectives in conceptualization and development of graphics, illustrations and layouts
- Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams
- Maintains a clean and orderly workstation
- Follows all Art/Creative safety policies and procedures including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Adapts to additional duties and tasks
- Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy a diverse array of projects
- Pitches creative concepts to Team Leaders and Creative Coordinators
- Completes all design assignments according to the needs of the clients and the Hobby Lobby customer while meeting the technical requirements of department standards
- Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects
- Maintains current knowledge of design trends
- Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
- Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude
