Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing and publishing written content to convey new and important agency policies programs and research findings; and
- Utilizing publishing concepts practices and standards to serve as technical authority and guidance.
- Performing research to prepare and publish written materials to develop authoritative information on various programs;
Job Requirements:
- Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (see http://www.sss.gov/).
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required
- DHS uses e-Verify, an Internet-based system, to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States.
- Must meet Time-In-Grade requirements.
- All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit to a financial institution of their choosing.
