Job Description: To support the DOH data capturers and Facility information officers in the form of data collection, verification, back capturing, mentorship and in-service training and implementation of new systems, processes and procedures to improve data quality dimensions (Accuracy, Reliability, Completeness, Precision/Consistency, Timeliness, Integrity/Validity, accessibility, Confidentiality) within a facility and sub-district Job Responsibilities: Support roll out of DOH data Tools Stakeholder management Links with district/national and other reporting systems Data quality reporting requirements (collection, reporting forms/registers/systems and tools) Data quality/Integrity mechanisms and controls for continues improvement (QIP, verification tools, nerve center information meetings) Capacity building (Indicator definition, SOPs, Data management processes) Job Requirements: Computer literacy (excel pivot tables) Knowledge of DOH major policy directives and signature programs 2 years’ experience in data/information management in a Health environment Numerical reasoning Facilitation and mentoring/capacity building Entry level analytics/ monitoring and evaluation Data Management Skills within health setting Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines 2 years Health Data Management experience (DHIS, TIER.NET) Relevant post Matric or Administration qualification Driver’s license and motor vehicle Knowledge of the public health system / Health systems awareness Job Details: Company: BroadReach Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Richards Bay Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here instantcareers.net
